How to change drive at the command line. This is going to be a very short how-to article.

Sometimes you would like to create all or some of your projects in a different drive on your system instead of the default C drive.

To change the another drive in you system, do the following:

  1. Open your terminal/command line

2. Check and take note of the drive name/letter you want to use

3. Type the letter, followed with a colon. Example, if you want to use drive H, type H: and hit the return/enter key

That is it.
